New Youth members: Find your club first! Call, email, or visit a club to find the right one for your family. Contact the 4-H offices or look at our club list:
New Member (YOUTH)Enrollment Process
- Go to the ZSuites : https://4h.zsuite.org/ Create a family household profile by following all steps. Enter all information, including club projects to enroll in. Fill out waivers and hit submit.
- Complete your secure online credit card payment here at this website: https://surveys.ucanr.edu/survey.cfm?surveynumber=46503
- You will be contacted by a Club Team member to confirm your enrollment.
New Adult Volunteer Appointment Process. Please use these steps in this order
STEP 1
- Fill out this New Volunteer survey which provides an overview of your volunteer information: https://forms.gle/53N8CptttuQETRbSA
STEP 2
- Log into Zsuites online enrollment: https://4h.zsuite.org/
- Follow all steps to enroll as an adult.
- Review the enrollment information.
STEP 3
- Visit Campus.extension.org and create an account https://campus.extension.org/ (These are required 4-H training videos)
- Find the 4-H & Youth training modules
Complete the required “2025-2026 California New Volunteer Training” (English Version) in eXtension (Spanish Version is titled Nueva Capacitación de Voluntarios de California) https://campus.extension.org/
Watch all videos using the enrollment key “Monterey”

- Once you have completed watching these videos there should be a certificate of completion available. Print and save.
- Your club’s Volunteer Enrollment Coordinator will check your status in this system as complete.
STEP 3
You will need to have DOJ and FBI clearance by getting fingerprints submitted to an official clearance agency. Use this request link to receive this special 4-H Fingerprint form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1nACPCKQdkXn-uQwX34JTGqo2sZg5EZWYgl4nMte33KU/edit?ts=6863166e
STEP 4
You will make an enrollment payment for yourself online using a credit card. To pay your enrollment fee, log onto: https://surveys.ucanr.edu/survey.cfm?surveynumber=46503
Final steps - The volunteer application is reviewed by 4-H YDP staff & the County Director
- If approved, notification of your 4-H adult volunteer appointment will be sent to your Club Leader.
- If there are any limitations on the appointment a subsequent letter will be sent from the County Director.

Misc. Enrollment Forms:
On occasion, families may need assistance to complete the enrollment process. Please review this form and discuss it with your club leader. Monterey County Fee Waiver form 2024-25
Modification of Enrollment:
- To add or delete a project from your current enrollment, use the Monterey County 4-H Program Project Update Form
- To enroll in a project that is being offered in a club other than your own, use the Monterey County 4-H Program Inter-Club Project Agreement
- To request a transfer to enroll in a different club within Monterey County, use the Monterey County 4-H Program Request for Club Transfer

4-H members may be dually enrolled in FFA and the 4-H program. To provide good communication between the 2 programs, please fill out this form and send to the 4-H offices.

Please note that these changes are not valid until the forms are recorded at the 4-H Office. No changes to enrollment information will be made without necessary signatures.
