Farmers globally are exploring adopting dry farming methods as a climate resilience strategy to cope with less water available for irrigation. Dry farming and various techniques associated with it have deep historical and varied cultural roots. Desert farmers and indigenous peoples around the world have developed techniques for farming with minimal irrigation or rainfall. Join UC Master Gardeners Janet Miller and Mike Corby as they share information about dry farming and how you might want to consider this for your own garden.
Ask a Master Gardener table will be at this event, as well. Bring your gardening questions for our experts from 9 AM to 12 PM.
