We’re so glad you’ve decided to join the Inyo-Mono 4‑H Program—welcome! Whether you're new to 4‑H or returning for another great year, we’re excited to have you on board.
We use an online enrollment system, Z-suite, to manage 4-H enrollments. If you need help, please call the main office line at (760) 873-7854 during business hours.
Getting Started with Enrollment
The steps for enrollment are outlined below, and we’ll go over everything with you, so don’t worry if it feels like a lot at first. There are a few differences in the process depending on whether you’re a new member or a returning member, so be sure to follow the instructions that apply to your situation. The process can vary slightly each year, so please take a moment to review the current instructions.
Important: If you’ve been part of 4‑H in the past, please do not create a new family account in the online system. This can cause problems with your records and delay your enrollment. If you’re not sure whether you already have an account—or if something isn’t working as expected—please reach out for help. We’re happy to assist you!

Tips
- Check out the project list before logging on to Z-suite. It's faster to do it that way.
- Sign up for every project that looks interesting. If we don't know you want to participate, we can't tell you when it starts or let the leader know you're interested. RSVP when information for the project is shared. Usually that's via email.
- Sometimes project names don't exactly match the project list. If something is confusing, ask the office.
- Some projects are just for mini-members; others are just for regular members or have other requirements to enroll. You'll usually be allowed to sign up, but you may get a follow up contact about that.
- Your enrollment fee covers membership in 4-H. There is no limit on how many projects you can sign up for. Note that some projects have additional expenses, either in materials, or with costs associated with participating. These may include buying an animal and the feed needed to rear it.
- Meat or market livestock projects mean the animal is raised to be sold, usually a terminal sale at the local livestock auction. Some animal project are not market projects. The project leader or office can explain the difference. Generally, mini-members do not participate in market projects.
