ANR Update

Dear colleagues, friends and stakeholders, Great news! Governor Newsom, in agreement with the state legislative leadership, has announced full restoration of UC's budget for the next fiscal year. This was part of the UC Regent's budget request this year, and we are thrilled to see it moving forward.

It's been quite a year, but one thing that hasn't changed is the need to assess our contributions to the organization. The ePerformance module in UCPath will be opened for the performance period of April 1, 2020, through March 31, 2021, for all non-represented staff.

Two award opportunities are available this year through the Western Extension Directors Association (WEDA). Please note that applications for both are due March 1, 2021.

Update on DEI Advisory Council This month I appointed 11 UC ANR employees to an initial two-year term as founding members of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Council for UC Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Colleagues, It is with bittersweet emotions that I announce John Fox's departure from the Division.
