The UC ANR Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Council to the Vice President has begun working to advise, support and ensure accountability for UC ANR's DEI efforts to improve working environments within UC ANR and quality of life for marginalized populations living in California.

Unify-Communicate-Advocate The UC ANR Strategic Initiatives offer a home for strategic thought - drawing on members of the wider UC ANR community and beyond to 1) help people connect and 2) to help them identify and address issues of current and emerging importance.

UC ANR is launching a photography contest and calling all staff and academics to submit their best shots. The contest will give us a chance to see scenes from different parts of our beautiful state, said vice provost Mark Bell.

The UC ANR Staff Assembly Wellness Committee invites ANR staff members to participate in Winter Wellness 2022. Now through Feb. 7, complete at least five individual health and wellness activities featured in the challenge.

John C. Bruhn, UC Cooperative Extension specialist emeritus, passed away Dec. 18, 2021. He was 81. Bruhn began his 37-year career (1969-2006) as a UCCE dairy food specialist in the Department of Food Science and Technology at UC Davis.
