Most of us freeze when we see a snake. Some of us run for the shovel or hoe to kill it. What should we do? We will help identify different snakes and their behavior. Get tips on how to avoid running into them. We will also talk about the service they provide as well as the danger.

Santa Clara County Parks is offering the UC Climate Stewards certification course. It is an 11-week climate-change education and service course that combines online learning and dynamic field experiences for adults.

Each Friday starts on campus with a classroom presentation, followed by a field trip.

Registration for this class has now closed. The California Naturalist Program promotes environmental literacy and stewardship through discovery and action. Many other states have similar naturalist programs, but this is the first statewide program in California.

The PLT Facilitator Training is for anyone who is interested in hosting their own Educator Workshop. If you want more of a leadership role with our program and have a group of educators you want to train in the curriculum this is for you.
