Join Master Gardener Janey Santos for a recap of Cultivate (AmericanHort), the premier event for the green industry. This event attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world, including growers and breeders.

In West Sacramento, the UCCE Yolo County Master Gardeners will be available to answer your gardening questions at their twice monthly gardening Questions and Answers Desk, held at Lowes, 2250 Lake Washington Blvd.

UCCE Master Gardeners-Yolo will demonstrate flower arranging and making small arrangements.

Thursday February 13, 3-4 pm- Maryellen Mackenzie, UC Master Gardener of Yolo County and rose expert will present Pruning Your Roses Right. Different types of roses need different pruning approaches. Pruning your roses right will result in healthy roses that produce a profusion of blossoms.

UCCE Master Gardeners - Yolo will be available to answer your gardening questions at their twice monthly gardening Questions and Answers Desk, held at Lowes Nursery, 2250 Lake Washington Blvd., on the first and third Saturday of the month.

UCCE Master Gardener-Yolo County, Heloisa Kinder, will give a 20-minute presentation on bees. In addition, Master Gardener Karen Slinkard will discuss when to remove plants from the summer season, how to prepare your beds for planting next seasons crops, and what to plant now.

UCCE Master Gardeners -Yolo will also be available at the Waterwise Landscape Tour in Woodland. This free tour will begin at City Hall in Woodland at 300 First St., upstairs in the Council Chambers. There is an elevator or stairs going to the 2nd floor.

Experienced UCCE MGs-Yolo will be on hand to answers your gardening questions. The Questions and Answers Desk at Lowes, West Sacramento is held on the first and third Saturdays of every month. It is free and open to the public.
