Saturday, January 11, 2025, 1 till 4 PM. Join the UC Master Food Preservers of Sacramento County for an in-person demonstration.

This is an in-person demo class where you can learn how to dehydrate snacks and meals for your camping and backpacking adventures. We will demo a complete meal and taste some samples of food you can make to take on the trail. You will go home with lots of recipes to try.

Join Master Gardener Melissa to learn about selecting, planting, and maintaining your landscape trees. Help create, enhance, and maintain our urban forest for the next 50 years.

Master Gardeners Deb and Christina will cover finding resources for finding and purchasing the right herbs, growing herbs, and harvesting and storing herbs.

The UC Master Gardeners Yolo County will hold their regular monthly meeting called the Kitchen Garden Chat on February 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., via Zoom (https://ucanr.zoom.us/j/98028723763).

Join us for a Make and Take Class. Master Gardeners will guide participants to make a dried flower candle jar. The class is free, and all materials will be provided. Class size is limited and pre-registration is necessary to attend.
