Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) certification is required annually for all animal exhibitors age 9 and up who will participate in the El Dorado County Fair. Exhibitors may choose to attend an in-person training for $3 or complete the online training for $12.

While the garden is closed in the winter months, there is still a lot of seasonal interest. Join Master Gardeners for a tour of the 16 gardens every 1st Saturday. Tours start at 9 a.m. sharp. If no visitors show up, the docent will leave at 9:15 a.m.
