UC Master Gardeners are residents of California--in our case, residents of Santa Barbara County--who are enthusiastic, willing to learn and help others, and able to communicate with diverse groups of people.
We are no longer accepting applications for our 2025 training program. We anticipate our next training program will begin in early 2027. Please fill out our Training Class 2027 Survey to receive updates when they become available.
In 2024, look for us at informational tables in the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden! We've partnered with the Garden to educate our community about ways to support native plants--and the pollinators that depend on them--in times of drought.
