- Asian vegetables: selection, irrigation and pest management
- Vegetable variety trials: annual artichoke, bell pepper, chili pepper, broccoli, cauliflower, fresh market tomato, carrot, onion, melons, potato, sweet corn, vegetable soybean)
- Vegetable production systems: drip irrigation, fertility, pest management, cover crops, selection and rotation
Extension Educational Outreach Projects
- Organized biennial cucurbit workshops, 1986-2001
- Organized commodity meetings and workshops for vegetable growers
- Taught courses on vegetable selection, performance, adaptation
- Taught classes on drip irrigation and irrigation scheduling
