Earth Friendly Gardening: Analyzing Your Garden Site
About the Event
The first step in designing your garden is to thoroughly understand your garden site.
During this workshop, we’ll conduct a site analysis of the library’s surroundings using tools and techniques that you can apply in your own garden. We’ll guide you through assessing the amount of sunlight you receive and how it fluctuates throughout the year. Additionally, we’ll emphasize the significance of considering your microclimate and soil type. You'll leave with resources that will help you decide what plants to plant and where.
For this workshop you will need to bring a device with internet capability to the class (phone, tablet, laptop).
