Community Environmental Council's UC Climate Stewards course seeks to foster a committed corps of volunteers ready to effectively engage in transformative local solutions to promote community and ecosystem resilience in a changing climate.
The 2024-2025 Audubon Youth Leader program is a 16-week program from November 3rd, 2024 to April 27th, 2025, occurring Sundays from 8:30AM to 1:30PM with the exception of one Saturday.

Columbia College is offering the Climate Stewards certification course and the California Naturalist certification course in Tuolumne County. FNR 190 Climate Stewardship, 3 units This course satisfies the requirement to become a Certified UC Climate Steward.
BIOL 20 Natural History of California, 4 Units This course is a GE Life Science course that focuses on the biology of California habitats and the organisms that live there.
Located in an urban area perched on the edge of the Angeles National Forest, the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanical Garden offers California Naturalist certification in its course Natural History on the Edge: The Wildland / Urban Interface.
