Mariela Wajler is a Nutrition Educator with UC Cooperative Extension in Alameda County, where she is dedicated to promoting health and wellness among vulnerable communities. Originally from northeastern Argentina, near the beautiful Iguazú Falls, Mariela’s passion for community service began early in life. She pursued studies in Humanities, Social Sciences, and Criminology at UNNE University in Argentina before moving to the United States to further her education and career.
Mariela holds a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics Science and is also a certified Health Coach. She specializes in early childhood nutrition education, working closely with Pre-K students to teach them about healthy foods and the impact nutrition has on their bodies and overall well-being.
