Lauren Snowden is an innovative eLearning designer and instructional strategist with a passion for creating engaging and accessible learning experiences. As the Online Training Specialist for the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR), she leads the development of digital training initiatives for the UC Master Gardener Program, crafting interactive modules on topics such as invasive species and inclusive design.
Lauren's expertise encompasses microlearning, curriculum development, accessibility compliance (including WCAG standards), and multimedia production. She excels in transforming complex information into user-friendly, visually compelling content, utilizing tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, and various video editing platforms.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in Economics from Saint Mary’s College of California, a Certificate in eLearning Design and Development from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master of Science in Learning Design and Technology from the University of San Diego.
Lauren is also a proud UC Master Gardener volunteer in Sutter-Yuba County, where she contributes to community education and outreach efforts grounded in science-based gardening practices.
