The Master Gardeners Living Labs Team will present seasonal garden talks at the Chapman Park Teaching Garden, 775 E 16th Street, Chico.

Talks are free, however registration is required. Talks are limited to 30 people. 
 

Fall Garden Talk

September 20th, 10:30am–noon
Chapman Park Teaching Garden, 775 E 16th Street, Chico

In the first of four yearly talks keyed to the seasons, the focus will be on a few critical garden jobs to tackle in the Autumn:

• How to start a compost pile with all those leaves!
• Pruning a variety of different fruit trees
• Vegetable gardening: sowing seeds and putting in transplants for fall and winter harvest.

Monthly garden tips and planting schedules will be available, as well as other resources.
