About the Event
Invasive plants cause a multitude of problems in California’s diverse landscapes. They can invade wildlands, reduce biodiversity, and increase the risk of natural disasters like wildfires. Join us as invasive plant expert Chris McDonald shares information about the impacts of invasive weeds and how they are managed in California.

UC IPM’s Invasive Species Mini-Series explores the many ways invasive species impact our lives, from harmful garden pests and aquatic hitchhikers to destructive tree pests, invasive weeds, and the policies that guide prevention and response.
Join from 11 am–noon on the first Wednesday of each month to learn about invasive pests and their impacts in California. The series is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required. All webinars will be recorded and posted to their YouTube channel in case you miss one!
