Registration is requested, but not required.

Gardening in a Changing Climate

“In order to know where you are going, it is necessary to know where you have been.”  This course endeavors to examine factors that have influenced Earth’s climate throughout history up to now and what is likely to happen in the future if current trends continue.  We will cover the essential elements for life on Earth and what natural processes control or influence our climate, then examine recent human influences on today’s global climate trends along with the consequences of our proceedings as usual.  We end by exploring what we can do as individuals to help slow and mitigate the warming of our planet and ways we can garden wisely as our local climate trends change
