Cool Season Vegetables - Napa and Yountville Workshop Options

Planning for cool season vegetables begins while the weather is warm.

Now is the time to plan for a harvest in fall, winter, or early spring. This hands-on workshop presented by UC Napa County Master Gardeners will help you understand which vegetables thrive in cool or even cold weather, and why one needs to start ahead of time while the weather is still quite warm. Strategies to prevent pests and other problems common to our region as well as soil management will be discussed.

There will be three sessions of this workshop:

  1. Napa (UCCE Meeting Room, 1710 Soscol Ave): Aug 9, 10 am - 12 pm (Click here to register)
  2. Yountville: Aug 10, 2 pm - 4 pm (Click here to register)
