The best thing about growing tomatoes – their wonderful flavor. The worst? Pests, diseases and environmental threats.
In this presentation, UC Master Gardeners of Orange County will examine those and provide general control methods, including crop rotation, planting/watering, choosing disease resistant varieties, and integrated pest management. Learn how to keep your tomatoes abundant and healthy! And as a extra treat, the first 24 people to arrive and sign in at the event will plant and take home their own tomato plant. Arrive early, learn from the presentation and leave with a plant.
