Learn all about Lavender at The Lavender Experience: A Hands-On Workshop, presented by UC Master Gardeners of Merced County Debbie Morrow, Debi Swarts, Mary Brooks, and Jay Hawkes on Sat, June 14 from 10 am to 12 noon.

During the first hour of the two hour workshop, the topics that we will discuss include:
· The History of Lavender
· Classification of Lavender
· The many different varieties of Lavender
· Growing Lavender in our climate
· Cutting Lavender
· Pruning Lavender
· The many uses of Lavender
The second hour of the workshop we will be propagating Lavender! Lavender cuttings will be provided.
