May 6– June 10 –  Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Laboratory (SNARL) annual lecture series, Tuesday evenings 6:30-8pm, 1016 Mt. Morrison Road, Mammoth Lakes. Bears, Frogs, Marmots, Pollution, Yosemite, and more. 

May 6– July 16 – Science on Tap Series, Whitebark Institute, Sage Grouse (Bishop, May 6), Burn Scars (June 11, June Lake), and Habitat (July 16, Mammoth Lakes) amid wildfire threats
