Broken Links to Sites, Images and Files
Broken links to sites, images and files is an assumed part of the migration from Site Builder to IWP. While most of the links, images and files should link properly, there are instances where they will be broken. The larger your site, the more often you'll find broken links and media images. We recommend checking for broken links, images and files, identifying where the links should go, and copying over any missing files to IWP.
Broken Media Images
Media Image migrated from Site Builder, as an IMG TAG, does not display, rather it shows as a red x. The file displays inside of the Drupal Text Box, but will not display inside your actual page.

The Same Image inserted via Insert Media Tool:

The following are additional bad link migrated image links from Site Builder. Again, same issue of <img> tags being formed instead of Drupal Media links.

Bad Links
These are good links:
These are bad links:
How do you know if you have bad links?
- The simplest way of dealing with bad links is to click all links on your page, and make sure that they all work.
- If you click on the link, is it good? If so, move on to the next link.
- If you click on the link, is is bad? If so, let's do a bit of sleuthing.
- Is the link from the old ucanr.edu / blog site that was migrated?
- If so, mouse over the link, if it is just a link to a page, does the link have MY.ucanr.edu in it? If not, if you copy the link, add MY.ucanr.edu to the link, and paste it into a new browser window. If the new link is good, then this is your problem. Since we should not be adding links to my.ucanr.edu then contemplate moving the page over to your new site if appropriate.
Notes:
tag is not functioning. It displays the image in edit mode but not in display mode.
displays red x even if there is an alt attribute, which is does not display.
