Many people are suffering from emotional consequences associated with anticipated or actual environmental changes and reacting with despair, grief, or uncertainty. Farmers, ranchers, and food producers have uniquely intimate relationships to places and landscapes, and as a result, are especially vulnerable to climate-related losses and grief. Join Maud Powell with Oregon State University as she offers an introduction to the notion of climate grief and loss. Participants will be encouraged to explore specific things they have lost to climate change, and identify and share with each other healthy strategies they are currently using to cope with climate-related stress.
