About the Event

Dr. Houston Wilson, Assistant Cooperative Extension Specialist and Director of the UC Organic Agriculture Institute at the Kearney Ag Research and Extension Center and Dept of Entomology at UC Riverside, will provide an overview of the ecology, monitoring, and management of navel orangeworm in almond, pistachio, and walnut orchards. This includes cultural, chemical, and biological control strategies for this pest, emphasizing sustainable pest management practices.
