Davis Central Park Demonstration Garden
A community effort has been underway since spring of 2006 to bring new life to Central Park Gardens. What started with a handful of UC Master Gardener volunteers as a simple idea to renovate the gardens in Davis Central Park has grown into an exciting community project with multiple partner groups and widespread recognition. The gardens are currently maintained by a volunteer-led nonprofit organization in partnership with the City of Davis.
Master Gardeners guide and train community members and student groups to help maintain the gardens. Central Park Gardens features a series of themed gardens with a variety of California native, wildlife attracting, drought tolerant, and edible plantings. The plantings are complemented by a growing collection of public art. For more information on the garden visit their website at: http://www.centralparkgardens.org/

Woodland Community College Demonstration Gardens
Master Gardeners work in cooperation with the Woodland Community College administration and the Horticultural Department to maintain a small orchard, a vineyard, perennials (Four Square Garden), and cover crops, for public demonstration and training. Follow this link for information on Woodland Community College's Agricultural and Environmental Horticulture Department.
Grace Garden Demonstration Garden
Grace Garden is a sustainable 5/8 acre garden growing vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers for the community. There are 8 beds 4’x50’, 4 raised beds and 2 demonstration beds 10’x10’, and fruit trees. The garden is located behind the United Methodist Church, 1620 Anderson in Davis.
