Hot July, hottest Yet

Climate change, you bet

Throw your hands in the air

Politicians don't seem to care.

Carbon Sequestration by way of trees

It's my choice to be carbon free.

Planting a tree seems such a small thing to do, but if everyone nurtured a new tree to a maturity we could put a dent in climate change.  Besides sequestering carbon trees can also provide shade for your home cooling it off on the hottest days by several degrees.  Lowering your use of air conditioning!

Trees also can be a food source providing us with copious amounts of fruits.  They are a home for birds. Trees break up the soil and provide homes for beneficial micro organisms. What's not to like?

Plant a tree for your children and grandchildren for their future.
