Selena Syrett: Here are my cats, Misty in the pink and Persey lounging on the couch! Misty tolerates Persey but doesn't really like her too much. Mostly they ignore each other.
On National Pet Day, April 11, we paused (or PAWsed) to honor our furry friends.
Thanks to all of you who posted pet pics on the ANR Employees Group Facebook page or sent photos, we got to see some of the furry faces that inspire our UC ANR colleagues.
Someone has to work to put pet food on the table – and a woof, sorry!, roof over your heads – and it may as well be you. Those treats and toys don't buy themselves. Thanks for making the world a furrier and friendlier place.
For your a-mews-ment, we present the following:
Emily Delk: Lily
JoLynn Miller: My menagerie includes, from left, the goats are Cashew, Pecan and Peanut. Murray is a mini donkey and the horse is Quinn. Koa is the dark-brown dog and Carmen is the white one.
Maria Ridoutt: Shey, my little thief of food and my salary.
Duwon Choi: That’s Bomi, my 7-year-old tuxedo cat.
Shannah Whithaus: Big D
Sonia Scott: This is Sugar, my 10-year-old pit bull. She looks pretty vicious, right? She's in charge of employee morale at the home office.
Glenda Humiston: Selkie keeps an eye on everything.
Linda Forbes: Shelby is smart, sassy, obsessed with water and squirrels. She’s going blind at the age of 6, but we will still go swimming!
Saoimanu Sope: Meet Mochi. He’s a 16-year-old yorkie and shih tzu mix. He’s got severe arthritis, blurry eyes and is hard of hearing, but you would never think that if you met him in person.
Ethan Ireland: From left, Susie Creamcheese, Rusty Ranger and Mitzi Mittens
Bridgette Alvarez: Koda and Milo. Koda has the big ears. He hears EVERYTHING, but doesn’t want to listen!
Brooke Haley-Herevia: Toffee the dog with kitten brothers Cheeto in the basket and Cloudy in the box.
Jan Newman: Cleo is the black dog and Honey is, well, the honey-colored dog.
Alexa Ocegueda: This is our pup, Nala!
Cynthia Crestmore: Here is my “grand kitty” Apollo and how he starts his morning in New York. Just admiring the view with his cup of coffee! No stress!
Amira Resnick: I couldn’t resist sending you a few pics of my pup, Sunny.
Pam Kan-Rice: Mitzi Merica is my home office supervisor.
