My favorite time of the year is in early spring! I have a tradition every year since 2015 of going to Annie's Annuals with my best friend. We make a day of it and is so much fun for the gardener and Flower Floozie that I truly am. 

 They have a variety of oriental poppies offered in early March, although my trip varies on the month, I am scheduled this year for the third week of April. If you have never been there, you are in for a real treat! I usually spend a few hours perusing each aisle with the intention of how many pots do I have to fill up. I have never had land of my own in the past years, so I always do container gardening. They have always produced within usually 2 months after planting and are just so amazing. I can get 2 poppies to one container, so I will do as many different varieties as I can get my hands on. 

This year I have the option to plant in my own soil! Woo hoo! I think I will, and then see how many reseed, fingers crossed! 

It's only a matter of time before I will have my amazing poppies for this year! Yahoo!
