I had a peaceful day tinkering in the garden today. I am usually tackling urgent work obligations and handling stressful fire drills, but I was able to set everything aside and focus on my happy place. It was a tranquil day spending time reconnecting and tending to a few garden needs. There were no major chores needed, just deadheading some early blooms and cleaning up debris from the windy days we had last week. I was so delighted to see the new growth and beautiful blossoms that pop out this time of the year.

While taking a break with Suzy Q, the Zen Master, I spotted this friendly pollinator that was also enjoying the garden, a ladybug sitting on top of a bird statue in the fountain. A good day, indeed!
