Master Gardener Plant Clinic at the San Mateo Arboretum Description: Come anytime between 12:00 to 3:00 pm for this walk-in plant clinic. UC Master Gardeners will be available to answer your questions from general information to advice about specific problems.

Soil and Sustainable Practices Description: Healthy soil is alive with a diverse community of organisms that work together to decompose organic matter, recycle nutrients, improve soil structure, and create pore space so water can infiltrate and be stored in the soil.

Preparing Your Winter Garden Description: In this beginning class, participants will learn how to prepare their garden for winter by using compost and mulch, planting cover crops, and planting winter vegetables.

Crop Rotation Description: Have you ever wondered if you can and should do crop rotation in your vegetable garden, even if your growing area is limited? In this class, you will learn the many benefits of crop rotation in your vegetable garden.
