9:00 am to 12:30 pm. All 4-H Members in Nevada and Placer Counties Traditional, Uniquely Upcycled, Favorite Decade Challenge, and Needlework items must be sewn as part of a 4-H Clothing & Textiles project (Sewing, Fiber Arts, Crocheting, Knitting, and Quilting).

Fun Fair is a great event for exhibitors and their families to become acquainted with all that is involved in exhibiting projects and animals at the County Fair. This event is held at the Nevada County Fairgrounds.

After attending the informational workshop on worm composting from 10-11:00 am, build a worm bin in this hands-on workshop. By the end of the workshop, you will be ready to start worm composting and will leave with a prepared bin.

Master Gardeners will be on site to help you with your gardening activities and to provide research-based gardening materials.

The Foothill Farmers Market at the Fountains in Roseville will have a table with handouts and volunteers giving out research-based, home horticultural advice.
