PVSA stands for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. This honor was created in 2003 to reward citizens of the US for time they spend volunteering, making a positive impact in their communities, and inspiring others to do the same.

Giulia Marino Giulia Marino was named the UC Cooperative Extension Specialist in Orchard Systems in the Department of Plant Sciences at UC Davis on Jan. 22. She is based at the UC Kearney Research and Extension Center in Parlier.
