Come join us for a morning of outdoor fun at the Monarch Nature Trail in Huntington Beach! Volunteering at the MNT is a great way to learn more about Orange County's butterfly population as well as the native plants they depend on for survival.

This class will bring you up to date on the latest process recommendations, teach you how to process your food safely and explain the reasons behind the process. You will learn what equipment is needed and proper storage methods.

ZOOM ENCORE Home grown tomatoes are the best, and easier to grow than you think. Whether you are a novice or a pro, this class will provide lots of information: How to plant from seed, how to transplant, care and maintenance, and recommendations on varieties of tomatoes.

Roses bring beauty, fragrance, and romance into our lives. Whether you are new to roses or experienced, Master Gardeners of Orange County will inform and inspire you about the selection, planting, pruning, care and feeding of roses.

If you have roses, this presentation is a great refresher on the basics such as selection, planting, care and feeding, integrated pest management and pruning. In addition, UC Master Gardeners of Orange County will focus on specific types of roses such as shrubs, miniature roses and old garden roses.

Citrus is easy to grow and easy to harvest. We will talk about citrus types and varieties for your backyard. Discuss citrus pests and diseases and their prevention, care and feeding and the latest on HLB disease and the quarantine that covers parts of Orange County.
