A panel of volunteers specializing in freezing, dehydrating, canning and food safety will be available to answer your questions and share their tips so you can safely and successfully preserve food at home.
Join us to learn about how to make kombucha, a refreshing drink made from fermenting tea. We’ll teach you how to maintain a healthy SCOBY (a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast) to make kombucha, and how to do a second fermentation flavored with various fruits.
The 13th Annual MS Bike-A-Thon will be hosted by Hornitos and Don Pedro 4-H Clubs. It will begin at the corner of Indian Gulch Rd. and Highway 140 at 11:30 am, and end at the Hornitos Park.
