GROWING PLANTS FROM SEEDS MG GWEN Growing plants from seeds is fun once you learn how, but it can be intimidating for beginners. Vegetables, herbs, fruits, flowers, cacti and many other plants can be grown from seeds.
Would you like to train your dog in obedience and learn dog handling? If you answered yes, consider joining the 4-H County Wide Dog Project. Leaders of the project are Anne Cehrs and Richard Benefiel, a former dog resource leader for Fresno County 4-H.
WOODWARD PARK LIBRARY GROUNDCOVERS AND HARDSCAPES MG DR. BETH Looking for something to fill an open spot in your garden, take the place of a lawn, or meander among the shrubs and trees? Groundcovers can add interest to the garden, help to prevent weeds, and cover walkways and seating areas.
The classrooms utilized for Record Book Judging are located in rear of campus in the N/W corner. One volunteer is required for every 5 books submitted. Volunteers must be available from 8:00 AM until a minimum of noon. Completion time is based upon the number of books submitted, usually by 2:00 PM.
