NEW for the 2024-2025 program year, volunteers will be trained on the 4-H Thriving Model and this kickoff event covers topics designed to enhance your role as a project leader.

All adults who apply to be an adult volunteer in the 4-H YD Program must complete either an in-person or virtual New Adult Volunteer Orientation. Please check the New Adult Volunteer Orientation R.S.V.P. form for an orientation date and location that works for you and R.S.V.P. as soon as you can.

Canning salsa at home is not as straight forward as it may seem. In this class we will teach boiling water canning, and how to can salsas safely.

Visit your local Tractor Supply Company store to buy a Paper Clover and support 4-H in our community! 4-Hers are invited to represent their project or club at either of the two Tractor Supply stores in El Dorado County.

Join the UCCE Master Food Preservers for their monthly general Q&A session. A panel of volunteers specializing in freezing, dehydrating, canning and food safety will be available to answer your questions, share their tips and encourage you to safely preserve food at home.

Join Master Gardeners for a tour of the 16 gardens every 1st Saturday. Tours start at 9 a.m. sharp.
