Fall is in the Air

The calendar says its fall, our fall weather is wonderful during the day it has been in the 80's and cools down at night. The leaves are falling in my yard from my neighbors very large mulberry tree. I can say I'm getting my exercise raking them up.

Germany Visit

We were able to sneak away to Germany to visit family living near Stuttgart. We traveled in early October and were there during a beautiful, unseasonably warm twelve days.

Once upon a time, a couple living in Suisun City built a really big (25 feet X 20 feet) deck behind their house. They chose redwood because of its beauty and its reputation for lasting a long, long time.

Yuzu

If you haven't heard of a yuzu (Citrus junos, synonym Citrus ichangensis x Citrus reticulata var. austera) tree, you're not alone. But the yuzu tree is slowly gaining popularity. The tree is believed to be a natural hybrid of an Ichang papeda and a sour mandarin.
