I did a bit of belated backyard cleanup today, and noticed some succulents:
This jade, Crassula ovata, was a scrawny little plant for years under a redwood tree. After the redwood was removed, the jade started to grow and now its quite large. It needs to be covered on the hottest summer days. Hummingbirds like the blossoms.

The next two succulents are Crassula argentea (Sunset Jade) and Senecio jacobsenii (trailing jade) from a Fort Bragg nursery. They have had no attention, and seem contented to be neglected. The Sunset Jade has tripled in size since the summer. I especially like the trailing jade's pinkish lilac color. It is very slow growing.
This Echeveria is happy sitting in a pot next to the house.
The following variegated Kalanchoe 'Lavender Scallop' seems to like its new spot. It gets dappled shade from shrubs and a Japanese maple.
Plant Net is not sure what kind of aloe this is. Its either A. perfoliata or dorothea. Seems quite happy with its little space in the stone wall.
