ANR Update

Similar to previous years, UC ANR units including research and extension centers, UCCE county offices, the Second Street Building in Davis and Franklin Building in Oakland will be closed from Dec. 23, 2022, through Jan. 2, 2023, except for essential services. UC ANR offices will reopen on Jan.

UC's Open Enrollment for 2023 benefits ends on Friday, Nov. 18, at 5 p.m. Visit https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/oe to submit your choices. UC will continue to offer the same benefit plans as this year for faculty and staff.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has moved to a new phase, the virus is still with us. The rate of cases in our community and among UC ANR employees has declined over the past few months, but transmission of the virus is still occurring in our communities.

Influenza: As you may have heard, in 2021 President Drake issued an Executive Order requiring all covered UC students, faculty, other academic appointees, and staff to get vaccinated against influenza or opt out by submitting a vaccine declination statement.
